Actor David Carradine was found dead Thursday (June 4) of an apparent suicide in his luxury Bangkok hotel room. Found hanging from a rope in his closet, police say there were no signs of struggle, however an autopsy will be performed. The 72-year-old made a name for himself as the wandering monk in the "Kung Fu" television series. He recently played the title character in Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" film series.

The date for Whitney Houston's comeback has been set. Her long-awaited album will be released on September 01 - seven years since her last studio work.

Angelina Jolie has been named the most powerful celebrity in the world by Forbes magazine. Jolie knocked talk show host Oprah Winfrey off the top spot on the annual Celebrity 100 list, which is based on earnings and media exposure. Madonna came third, followed by singer Beyonce and golfer Tiger Woods.

Finally, Paris Hilton is still on the search for best friends - and this time she's going to Dubai to find them. The fame-loving heiress is about to make a trip to the Middle East, which will be the location for an upcoming edition of her reality series "Paris Hilton's My New BFF."
