"the doctor's in there and the family's in there. It was a seizure and that was it and had a history of seizures, that was it. Everybody's doing everything they possibly can. It happened this morning about 930am. He hit his head that was here and then they called us and we called the emergency services and that was all processed. He had a seizure and we don't know at this time. Everybody's with him, all of his family."

STORY: Miley Cyrus along with father Billy Ray, offered their condolences to actor John Travolta, over the death of his teenage son, Jett, during a family vacation in the Bahamas.

Also accompanied by her mother, Leticia Finley, and boyfriend, Justin Gaston, Miley Cyrus was approached by paparazzi in the parking lot of Patsy's Diner in Los Angeles on .

Cyrus had sung a duet, 'I Thought I Lost You,' with John Travolta for the latest Disney animated feature 'Bolt' in which they both also voice major characters. The song has since been nominated for a Golden Globe Award.

The Travolta family lawyer, Michael Ossi, had announced on Friday (January 2) Jett Travolta, 16, suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay resort on Grand Bahama Island.

Police say Travolta's eldest child had been found unconscious in a bathroom at his family's home.

The teen apparently hit his head and a caretaker found him unconscious in the bathroom on Friday morning. He was taken by ambulance to Rand Memorial Hospital in Freeport, where he was pronounced dead, according to a statement from the Royal Bahamas Police Department.

Jett, who had a history of seizures, was the eldest child of Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston. They also have an 8-year-old daughter, Ella.

Meanwhile, John Travolta broke a two-day silence over his son's death, saying he and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, were "heartbroken" by the sudden loss. An autopsy to determine the cause of death is scheduled for Monday (January 05, 2009).
